MH ELEGANCE GUIDE
BRILLIANCE, THOUGHTFULLY MADE
Lab-grown diamonds and created gemstones such as ruby, sapphire and emerald share the same physical and chemical properties as their natural counterparts. What sets them apart is how they are made: grown in controlled environments rather than mined from the earth.
Alongside them, our collection features moissanite and cubic zirconia, each with its own character, sparkle and price point. This guide explains the stones we use, so you can choose the one that suits you best.

PEOPLE AND PLANET FIRST
We believe beautiful jewelry should be made with care. Choosing lab-grown, created and simulated stones means no new mining is needed for the gem itself, and lets us offer remarkable brilliance at a more accessible price.
As we grow, we aim to keep learning about our materials and suppliers, and to share what we can verify with you.

LAB-GROWN DIAMONDS & MOISSANITE
Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds, with the same brilliance and chemistry as mined ones. Moissanite is a distinct gemstone prized for its fire and hardness, and cubic zirconia offers diamond-look sparkle for everyday wear.

CREATED SAPPHIRES
Created sapphires are chemically identical to mined sapphires. They are simply grown, not excavated, and bring rich, saturated colour to every piece.

GEMSTONE FAQ
Yes. Lab-grown diamonds have the same chemical composition, crystal structure and hardness as mined diamonds. The difference is their origin: they are grown in a controlled environment instead of formed underground.
Created (or lab-grown) stones, such as created ruby or sapphire, are chemically the same as the natural gem. Simulated stones only imitate the look of another gem, using a different material.
Moissanite is its own gemstone, made of silicon carbide. It is very hard and known for its strong fire and brilliance, which many people love as an alternative to diamond.
Cubic zirconia is a diamond simulant: a lab-made crystal cut to look like a diamond. It offers beautiful sparkle at an accessible price and is a great choice for fashion and everyday pieces.
Clean your pieces with warm water, mild soap and a soft brush, then dry them with a soft cloth. Store each piece separately to avoid scratches.
